I dedicate myself to the Lords of Light.
I journey from the path of darkness to the Path of Light.
Unbalanced power is the ebbing away of life.
Unbalanced mercy is weakness and the fading out of the will.
Unbalanced severity is curelty and the barrenness of mind.
I come in the power of the Light.
I come in the light of wisdom.
I come in the mercy of the Light.
In the name of the Lord of the Universe
Who works in silence and whom naught but silence can express
I declare that I will not give to any the keys of the mysteries,
Except that he be an honored candidate.
I know that that which is above is that which is below.
I purify myself with water.
I consecreate myself with fire.
I am of the earth, and of the air
And shall protect the meanings of the sacred elements.
Glory be to Thee, Father of the undying.
Thy joy flows out endlessly to the reaches of the universe.
Glory be to Thee, Mother of All.
Thy boundless dew reflects the creation of the universe itself.
