Black Cord Binding Spell

Ritual

Cast a protective Circle. Put picture(s) in the center of the circle where all can seer. Sit and discuss who, what, and why the reason for the spell. Hash out exactly who should be mentioned, or if it should be cast in a general format (person-specific or institutional).

Bring up all the things that the individual/institution has done that's illegal, unethical, unhealthy, and/or unconstitutional. Speak to fears of the future if this individual stays in power.

The above discussion, if done with passion and conviction, should raise enough energy all by itself to cast a powerful spell.

Once the energy level has been raised, explain intent and reason to the Universe our intent. Ask the Guardians and the Gods to grant the Work, if it's in the best interest of all.

HPS picks up the Black Cord and says loudly, "Name(s) of person(s) and/or institution involved! I bind you from ……. (speaks of one of her concerns). She then ties a knot in the center of the cord.

This repeats around the circle until everyone has spoken his/her mind and tied a knot in the cord. Multiple passes around the circle are entirely permissible.

HPS raised the cord skyward and says:

In Hecate's name we bind (Name) and anyone else involved in his/their lies and deception to the flames. May She bring them nightmares, depression, and pain. We cast all involved in this travesty to the winds, that all of them will know shame.

May Hecate envelope them all in the threefold law.
May all the world forget their shame, their harm, their very names.
May their ability to wage war - both figuratively and literally - fall on deaf ears.
We join our energies with all those agreed to work with us.
May Hecate stop (this person's) harm in the future, present, and past.
And only when their deeds are reversed will this binding be uncast.
As we will it, so mote it be!
As we will it, so mote it be!
As we will it, so mote it be!

HPS then casts the knotted cord into a well-burning fire, such that the cord is burned in its entirety so the knots will never come undone.
