Protection for a Deploying Soldier

Take an amethyst pendant and wear it over our heart and under your clothes until the soldier is leaving. Every time you think about the person leaving, take it out and hold it in your hands, saying,

Protection for thee
from the highest,
from the the heart,
from my love,
from all above,
so shall it be.

Give it a kiss and return it to the place on your heart.

Give it to the soldier just before he leaves, makig sure s/he knows to wear it under it his clothes, close to the heart.
